My project involves the development of optical imaging technology and computational tools for the assessment and induction of neuronal activity. By utilizing these tools to assess dynamic neural activity, I aim to integrate the information collected from imaging nervous tissue to understand how cellular communication is affected by tailored optical pulses, and see if these can potentially be controlled by modulation of the light parameters.
