McKinley Health Center

McKinley Health Center provides health care to students on the Urbana campus. Visit the website for general information about services provided, to schedule an appointment online, or for health information resources.

Dental and Vision Insurance Coverage

The Counseling Center can help you develop coping skills to address emotional, interpersonal, and academic concerns. Individual, couples, and group counseling services are available and are paid for through the health service fee. The Counseling Center offers short-term counseling, but can provide referrals to community resources when longer term services would be beneficial.
 

Wellness Resources

Wellness is more than the absence of illinois. It is a dynamic state of wellbeing. Here are some resources to keep you at your best.
 
Campus Recreation provides a welcoming environment with sustainable facilities and programs  to engage in recreation and wellness opportunities. Learn about the eight dimension of wellness.
 
The Campus Wellbeing Services Calandar lists campuswide events taking place throughout the semester.
 
Feeling stressed? McKinley’s Relaxation Exercises can be used directly from the computer (you will need audio capability), or they can be downloaded to your MP3 player.
 
These weekly workshops presented by the Counseling Center Paraprofessionals focus on different topics that students may encounter, such as stress, anxiety, loneliness, long-distance relationships, among others. Check the website for offerings.
 
The Psychological Services Center provides various therapy services including therapy for stress, anxiety, and couples issues. Mindfulness training and conflict resolution training are also available. Visit the website for general information.
