Description of Research:

Still finding out what it is I want to do exactly. I have been looking into applications of Topology in Condensed Matter since this can be used to describe defects, quantum numbers, invariants, etc.; usually you just put topological in front of said terms. For theory it is typical to start your own research in year two of your physics graduate carrier. I need to take a course on Quantum Field Theory in order to start to be of real used to a professors group.
