Sixty-three graduate students competed in the preliminary round of the event. Of those, fourteen graduate students presented their scholarly work in 3 minutes using only 2 slides in the final round of Research Live! on Tuesday, November 15 at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. Audience members learned about brain therapies, traffic patterns, biobots, autism, and many more topics that are the focus of graduate student research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

“This event is one of my favorites of the year,” Wojtek Chodzko-Zajko, dean of the Graduate College, said. “It showcases the incredible and diverse work that our Graduate Students do on campus, in a dynamic and engaging setting.”
