Registration Information and Registration Deadlines
There are many different parts of term that courses are offered within a semester. The Class Schedule includes what part of term each course is scheduled in to assist with identifying deadlines. Please refer to the calendars published on the Office of the Registrar's website for deadlines related to registration activities.

Registration Terminology
Understanding registration terminology will assist with understanding different deadlines and processes.
Cancel: Dropping all courses prior to the term beginning. Results in 100% refund.
Withdraw: Dropping all courses after the term begins. Refund amounts vary depending on date that a student withdraws.
Drop: Drop one or more courses, but not all. Refund amounts vary depending on date that a student drops a course.
Drop with a "W": Dropping a course after the 3/4 point in the term, but before finals begin. A "W" stands for authorized late withdrawal and does not factor into your GPA.

| Last day to submit a change of curriculum request for the current term. This includes changing your degree program or adding/dropping a minor or concentration. | July 5 |

| Last day to take final exam for August doctoral degree | July 6 |
| Last day to complete deposit of August doctoral dissertations | July 17, 5 p.m. |
