Going on the faculty job market soon? Join us for valuable advice from our Career Development staff and from faculty who have served on search committees. This afternoon event an overview of the faculty job search, a panel that will get you ready to apply this fall, and an interactive session to plan your next steps.
This event will be held on Zoom. Registration is required.

- The Landscape of Higher Education & Faculty Careers (2:00 - 2:45 PM)
- This session provides a discussion of the state of higher education, the variety of faculty careers available, and the faculty job search process (including timelines, finding job postings, common application materials, time management strategies, and more).
- Faculty Panel (2:45 - 4:00 PM)
- Faculty panelists from institutions across the country to be announced
- Planning for the Fall & Beyond (4:00 - 4:30 PM)
- This session will guide you in developing a plan to tackle the faculty job search in the Fall.
Faculty Job Search Advising
Before or after you attend the Faculty Job Search Retreat, meet with a Graduate College career advisor to strategize, develop and revise application materials, and more.
