Career Exploration Group

Tuesdays, October 30 through November 27 (with a week off for Thanksgiving)

The Career Exploration Group provides a guided discovery process and collaborative environment for graduate students who are changing or uncertain about their career plans. Participants will work with career advisors to identify and explore broader career options that fit their skills, interests, and values.  (Please note that this is not a job search group. We will not be workshopping application documents or discussing in detail the process of searching for a job.) Register at https://go.grad.illinois.edu/CareerExpGroup.

What Can I Do with a PhD in the Humanities? Group

Thursdays, November 1 through December 6 (with a week off for Thanksgiving)

Join a collaborative group that will help you figure out what matters to you and discover fascinating new paths. In addition to activities to help you explore your values, skills, and career interests, each session will include a visit from a humanities PhD who will talk about what they do and how they got there. Learn more and register at https://go.grad.illinois.edu/HumanitiesCareerGroup.
