This spring, we honored some of our finest instructors for excellence in teaching, mentoring, and advising. These outstanding individuals were awarded what is collectively known as the Campus Awards for Excellence in Instruction.
The Graduate College is pleased to announce Saniya Ghanoui, a doctoral student in the Department of History in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences as the winner of the sixth annual Graduate Student Leadership Award.
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) awarded Fellowships to three University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Graduate College students. Recipients will pursue academic work and lead innovative community projects to empower women and girls.
The Graduate College is pleased to announce the awardees of the Spring 2017 Dissertation Travel Grant and Master’s Project Travel Grant. With the help of these Travel Grants, students have the opportunity to conduct dissertation research or complete master’s projects in destinations across the world. Twenty-five departments from across campus submitted a total of 42 nominations and, of those, 16 nominations from 13 departments were selected for awards.
